Social event 7 April 2021: Online Beer Tasting

On Friday 9 April 2021, at 8pm, we will be offering something a little different – online beer tasting (hopefully in preparation for the re-opening of pubs soon after!). Hayley Young will be joining us to lead our Guild Spring Beer Festival. Attached is a list of beers which Hayley, Michael Wilby and myself have put together. You need to purchase one beer from each style. There is a decent range available and you shouldn’t find it challenging to purchase one from each style as part of your weekly shopping.

The Zoom link will be issued a little nearer the time.

So, get buying and look forward to the sampling!

eBells

Are you under-25 and interested in handbell ringing?  If so, eBells can upgrade your online ringing experience but at £97 per pair they may be too expensive for you.

The Guild may be in a position to support you by subsidising this cost if this is something of interest to you. If you are under 25, interested in handbells and think eBells could help, email us before Friday 5 February 2021. No promises, but the Guild will help where possible.

Online training sessions: September 2020

Wednesday evening online sessions are back – Wednesdays at 7pm on Zoom!

Alistair Cherry kicks off the new term with a presentation titled exploring Cyclic Surprise Maximus.

We will trial a slightly different way to attend this talk. If you’d like to attend, please complete this form. It’ll take only a few seconds and we will email the Zoom link on Tuesday evening.

This way, we can advertise more widely safe in the knowledge that we won’t exceed capacity. Guild members will always have priority for attendance.

The advertised schedule throughout September is available here.
